This week was quite great, I just started school, my timetable is great, my extra module, effective interpersonal communication is great fun. Phew, so glad i chose this module n did not follow the crowd. haha..
i uploaded some photos on flicker, no not cuz veronica said she wanted to see more fotos, but rather its too troublesome uploading them thru blogger 1 by 1. aiya but dammit, im having some problems linking it to the blog, argh.. i'll try again another time. Feelin kinda lazy now. n I shd be getting back to my work.
hah.. anywayz, yesterday, i met jeremy n i was wif a group of frens(anthony, brian, jesse).
Jeremy:" hey ware's Jesse(thinking tt it was a girl)?"
Samuel:" there(points to him)..."
Jeremy: "*gasp* wad?! tts Jesse?!"
Dude pple got unisex name can anot... haha..
But it reminds me of the time when i was in TJ. First day. Guy beside me. Asked his name. Jesse(so qiao). said: " isnt tt a girl's name?" replied:" no its unisex(with the tulan face)"

If u think i have alot of time on my hands. den i can safely say im a disgrace to these pple. n it literally shows... on their hands. They'd probably have nothing to do for the rest of their lives and have developed some skills along the way. haha.

Went to Sakae recently, Was walkin to our seats when i saw judith n her TK frens.. im thinking: "wah kids nowadays got alot of money ah.. back in my time i cud only afford to eat in the sch canteen loh." hah.. back in my time..
anyway, back at sakae, we were so hungry we ate like 20 plates each la.. n partly to make our money's worth also haha..n oO btw its buffet tts y.. oh my MUST TRY recommendations: WASABIKO!! its mM Mmmm..

Recently, Pope Benedict came under great criticism by the muslim world for a quote made during a speech which was addressed to an audience of scholars.In his speech at the University of Regensburg, Pope Benedict quoted criticism of Islam and the Prophet Mohammad by 14th century Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Palaeologus, who wrote that everything Mohammad brought was evil and inhuman, "such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached".
Yes, it was a politically bad choice of quotation by his holyness but he did not say this or even agreed with that particular verse made by Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Palaeologus.What he did say afterwards was that spreading religion through violence was " incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul". Many many people get the wrong idea of this whole issue. Let me tell you what that part of the Pope's speech was like...Its like someone reading out an essay in which only certain points were meant to be made and it was not meant to make other points(in the Pope's case, the quote on the criticism of Islam). Its like you talk about an Ex-convict's life and how he made good when he came out of prison but also mentioning the things he did that put him to prison. If you read his speech u'd see what i mean.
All religions in different aspects, teaches us good. And i believe that the statement was to condemn the use of religion to cover up for acts of terrorism and NOT to criticise Muslim teachings. Take for instance, Bali bombings, twin towers act, im sure we all STRONGLY AGREE that they were unjust and wrongful acts. And that was what the Pope was emphasizing.
I really really hate it when im misunderstood, tts y i empathize with the Pope.
But the thing is people tend to only hear what they want to hear, never really going to find out or listen to the whole story and jump to their own conclusions based on their emotions. And maybe the media is partly at fault 4 not presenting the whole picture, cuz when i first read in the papers that Pope Benedict said what he said i was quite shocked. But when i read his speech, i cud see it was meant so differently..

i just got my term results. not too gd. but it was wad i had expected, but nonetheless not too gd cuz i think i was a lil more hopeful than usual. lets see... 2B+ 1B for major subjects.. the rest As or dist.. its a lil bad for my standard, not tt im being arrogent or wad. anywayz i prayed hard be4 the release of my results.. i'll not say how hard but i did.. was hoping God wud give my grades an extra boost.. haha.. nuh lah.. im sure he did.
anywayz D- for uni. maths!! omGoodness gracious! i dunt know whether to be happy or sad man. btw its a pass. And a pass wud mean i have to continue the module next sem. lol. im not gonna tell mummy and daddy man..
Somehow or rather i always need to do badly to wake myself up n get going harder the next time round. haha it sucks la but it works somehow.
niwae studies aside la. yesterday was supposed to go butter factory which i did. so i went down, tot they had sometime planned for those invited cuz we(invited pple) were asked to come down earlier. n too my disappointment, it was nuthing, like.. totally nuthing.. n we were suppose to wait till the main arena opens. N worse, Zuwei n Honwai were gonna be late. Wth.. dunt expect me to sit hang ard there like an idiot rite.. so when they proposed to go Zouk i was like "ahh.. might as well la." But there went mah free party.. dammit.. haha..
anyway when i was at the entrance of butter, this girl came n said she came under a person who was invited.
Girl: "I'm here under some1's name"
Door Hostess: " ok wad name?"
Girl: " samuel"
i was behind her n i tot ok... cannot be me rite obviously... haha
Door Hostess: " is it samuel tay?"
Girl: " er.. yup"
n she got in.. haha i dunt know.. maybe there was another samuel tay coincidentally..
den i came next..
Door Hostess: "oh so ur samuel tay ah.. so just now tt girl.. she's wif u?"
ME: "*tot awhile*.. er yar she's wif me.."
lamo supremo la..haha.. nvm i shall not pao toh..
anywayz going out wif those 2 dirty old buggers Zuwei n Honwai has opened my eyes to new "stuff" i never knew possible... haha.. if u want know... fat hope.. not here where pple like my sister n others under 18 read this blog.. wahaha.. i feel evil.. ok la.. no.. not under 18..under erR..16 la hu reads my entries.
oh yah.. my kay poh sister suddenly has a new found excitement in my fat abs... haha.. i wonder (wad'd sparked tt)..
anyway.. oh yah i JUST n only JUST realised tt some1 pinkied wif me n broke it! ... haha.. hmm...

DING DING DING.. yes u've heard it, the bells of success.. haha..im so damn glad ive finally passed my driving test man!! auh..can't imagine wad wud happen if i failed this time round can u.?! i am estatic to bits! hah..n phew.. to the peeps hu advised me n encouraged me.. THANKS again! anyway this time i got 8 pts, compared to 42 the last time..haha.. but i still made the same mistakes... hmm...

This is what u get when ur own teammate tackles u... haha.. wth.. i was going for a loose ball n 2 other players(one teammate n one opponent) were also coming in so i just as i poked the ball away.. n den.. baM! he slided me. it was alot of blood so i quickly went to the side to ask melvin n the rest for water to wash. haha i think he tot i wanted a drink so he passed me his 100plus. i was stunned for a moment, tot maybe it was a secret remedy to heal wounds.. lol.. yar rite.. anyway.. "eileen, now i can compete wif u le.." if u know wad i mean.. haha..
damn its hard to do certain things man.. especially wiping mah ass after making some chocolate cake... wahaha.. just kidding..
