i caught a glimpse of the dailogue that MM lee had wif these 10 young panalists on politics, the upcoming elections and voting. It sort of reminded me of wad we(my clz) discussed about last term for this module called critical thinking skills: young singaporeans's political apathy and voting age matters.
U know come to think of it, its quite true that pple my age are quite uninterested in our country matters including myself of course. Hell i dunt even know hus representing the constituency in my area la. hmm.. not sure if its mr yacob ibrahim..haha i only remember him cuz he presented scholarship money to me a few times be4. yep maybe its him. i dunt know.
Maybe the reason we are like tt is becuz we are so comfortable eating the fruits of our "forefather's" labour and not having to experience hardship,poverty wad else have u got, at face point, that we take all these things for granted. Like how my mother used to say.. "you all ah, all so spoonfed.. never experienced real suffering b4, wait till it comes a time...blablabla."
Is that wad's gonna happen to Singapore in future? Are we gonna be lost when something goes wrong in the government?well.. it can work both ways..go figure..haha..
well all in all, its refreshing to see a spark in these few panalists. yea.. youth rox!haha..
eh so u pple must be wondering how come i suddenly blog about this kinda boring shit issue thing rite..? haha.. i guess life's got more to it than just soccer n sch n girls n clubs n games n mundane stuff.. lol.. n u know wad.. i've just recently realised im coming to the end of my teenage yrs! shit! its abt time to start acting mah age, dressing mah age, thinking mah age already.. wah..dad just woke up.. tell me go sleep..
k i better go off to bed.. tmr's gotta be a loooooOOnng day without food.. i mean..today..friday..
n one more thing be4 i forget..Mr Benitez pls get me raul gonzalez!!! n keep fowler at liverpool pls!.. haha he is GOD k...lol out of point but.. yea.. hu kena voted out in American Idol????
